1. What Gurgli is
Gurgli is a community for people with acid reflux. Members with matched Gurgli Reflux Profiles test one method together in a group we call a bubble. Each member's own result is theirs alone; the bubble's overall result goes to every member. Membership is due to open in November 2026; we confirm the date by email. By signing up on gurgli.com you agree to these terms.
2. Who we are
gurgli.com is operated by Chris Denison, trading as Gurgli ("Gurgli", "we", "us"), of 57 Hollow Wood, Olney, Buckinghamshire. Email: contact@gurgli.com.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to sign up. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the email address is your own.
4. Signing up
When you sign up, you agree that we may email you about Gurgli. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in any email or by emailing contact@gurgli.com, and we will stop. Our Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled.
5. The screens on this site
The app screens shown on gurgli.com illustrate how Gurgli works. The names, numbers and results in them are examples.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Signing up with an email address that is not yours
- Submitting the form by automated means
- Scraping, crawling, or automated access to the site
- Circumventing security measures
- Using the site for any illegal purpose
7. Not medical advice
Gurgli is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice. Nothing on this site is advice to start, stop or change any medication or treatment. If you take medication for your reflux and are thinking of changing it, talk to your GP. If your symptoms are severe or getting worse, contact your GP or NHS 111.
8. Disclaimers
gurgli.com is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We aim to keep it available and accurate but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Gurgli and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this site.
10. Our content
The words, pictures, animation and design on gurgli.com, and the Gurgli name and mark, belong to or are licensed to Gurgli. You may link to the site and quote from it briefly with attribution. You may not otherwise copy or reuse it without our written permission.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes that affect your sign-up, we will notify you by email before they take effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of gurgli.com will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
